What was the highlight of Li Gang Hotel II
Value for Money
Staff was helpful and quick to change our room. The initial room given smelt of tobacco. In fact, the whole corridor had the stench of tobacco.
They initially offered a room on a floor which completely stang of tobacco. They could have offered a better room on another floor in the first place. We checked in late in the evening and had to waste time moving into another room. Carpark was in a basement across the road and accessible via a pedestrian underpass which has become a shelter and sleeping quarter for some homeless people. Hotel signboard could not been seen from the road leading to it, and could therefore be easily missed. We didn't even realise we had driven past it and had to go another round to find it.

Great value for money!
The double room for 4 people was spacious and very clean. The breakfast had great variety and was delicious. And the staff were very effective, friendly and helpful. All in all excellent value for money!
The parking was across the road in the basement of an old building and was quit dirty, but it was free.

Hotel from the 70s
Pros: rooms were newly renovated.
Cons: lobby looked like a hotel from the 70s. Staff were untrained and not really helpful. No porter to help with bags etc. Shower temperature was erratic and kept fluctuating. Breakfast was terrible.

the lady who checked us in early at about 1 pm on 22 Dec 2017 was very polite and helpful... thank you the room was newly renovated hence very clean and neat the beds were large and comfortable
